Zhao Zhongxiang come back to CCTV after two years' retirement

Zhao Zhongxiang, a well-known Chinese host, was born in 1942 in Heibei Province. Zhao Zhongxiang has worked for 40 years in China Central Television (CCTV), serving as commentator for news, features, and other kinds of important programs, such as Spring Festival Gala Evening. He was also a member of the CPPCC National Committee, executive director of China Wildlife Conservation Association and executive director of China Environmental Science Society.

Since July 12, 2010, Zhao Zhongxiang reappeared in CCTV broadcasting the Animal World and man and nature with Zhu Xun (A female host of CCTV) as his partner after he retired for two years. Besides, Zhao also has another program, and that is to dub for World Expo legendary. 68-year-old Zhao Zhongxiang’s coming back to CCTV again has attracted a lot of controversy. Some said that Zhao should step aside to leave more chances to the youngers, while some still suppot him  because they had been accustomed to Zhao’s hosting style and his familiar voice.
