Search Engine Optimization: Both SEO and copywriter should be related with your keywords

To make search engine optimization to play a full role, we should be more than a SEO or a copywriter. Actually, we have the role of finding and intergrating keywords into the content of the page no matter as a SEO or a copywriter.

Keyword selection is the main job of a SEO not the copywriter. The SEO should find probable keywords and do the in-depth research on these keywords until selecting the right ones. After the step was finished, it’s time for the copywriter. The copywriter will be responsible for intergrating the keywords into the content. They may edit, adjust or even rewrite the content so as to make sure  the keywords are well optimized in a way which doesn’t destroy the goals of the page.

However, SEO and copywriter should work together sometimes because there are times when the roles can overlap a bit. Perhaps the keywords which SEO feel workable may not get the copywriter’s acception. Both of them work together can come to an aggrement whether a keyword can or should be used on a particular page.

In a word, SEO takes charge of keyword selection and keyword guidence, while copywriter takes charge of keyword integration and keyword usage. These two also needs cooperation as well. SEO needs to determine where the keywords should be put on the content, and the copywriter also needs to get a basic understanding of SEO to realize the importance of putting the keywords in headings, in body content and more frequently appearances than others.

To make sure your keywords are properly used in the content and really work for your search engine optimization, both SEO and copywriter should pay much attention to the communication between each other and focus on the keywords all the time.
