Search engine optimization: has your website prepared for SEO

Has your website prepared for search engine optimization? This should be the first question to ask yourself before any search engine optimization actions, as preparedness ensures success and unpreparedness spells failure. As a webmaster, you should first check out the following aspects to make sure your search engine optimization effort will not be wasted.

1. A comprehensive menu is necessary.

A comprehensive menu means that you should list all of your offers in the website, what’s more a list of the most highly recommended or popular item is even better which can be helpful for the customers’ reference.

2. Detailed service regulations should be provided.

Suppose you are providing food, you should show clearly in your website that your food will be served on paper or china, the packing cost extra or not, and something like this. Tell people everything you can do including the detailed service regulations, which can increase visitors’ trust on you.

3. Cost is what people are mostly concern about.

Don’t fix your price rigidly. You’d better give a price range of $29-79 for example, which shows people that you are willing to negotiate and be creative to come up with a menu that will fit in their budget. Does your site has improved this? If not, start now.

4. Does your site own a “About Us” page?

Create a “About Us” page to let people know that who you are, why you are different with other suppliers, and why should they trust on you and purchase your stuffs. This is the most common methods to build and increase your site’s credibility in the eyes of the public.

5. Show your purchase baits.

Try everything you can do to create any possible purchase baits, such as, “buy one, get one free”, “half price” and “free shipping”. Remember these should be placed boldly in your website so as to be easily found by visitors, which can invisibly and effectively increase their purchase chances.

If these five aspects can be found in your website, you can tell that your site has prepared for search engine optimization. If not, start now to fix up these aspects one by one so that your effort and time will not be wasted.
