Scandal

Chongqing Municipal Public Security Bureau has just informed the media that Hilton Hotel in Chongqing was ordered to suspend business for rectification because of the sex scandal.

It is learned that the shareholders and related managements have maintained a long-term relationship with the local criminal syndicate, and also introduced women to accept payment in exchange for sexual relations. Such behaviors have intentionally disturb social order resulting in adverse social impact. The hotel has been investigated twice since the last November due to the illegal business. During the period, the Central Comprehensive Management of Public and superior public security have also found the hotel illegal business and warned again to the hotel, but the hotel not only refused to mend their ways but defamed the public security’s anti-crime management.

In Jun 19, the police arrested 102 suspects, 22 of who were criminal detained after the preliminary examination. The review found that the group is also suspected of drug offenses. That night, The suspectable shareholders of the hotel were summoned again to continue their investigation on criminal acts. In Jun 20, according to inventory the police decided that Hilton Hotel Chongqing shall be ordered to suspend business for rectification because of its illegal operation, violation of social management, and deliberately creating disturbances.
